Twins and Their Twin John Deeres

The original owner was C.E. ‘Charlie’ Ross, of Zanesville, Ohio. A farmer, master mechanic and tractor puller. After he quit farming and opened his shop the tractor was sold at auction and disappeared for a while. The new owner was going to take the tractor to Alabama and sell it, but I was able to buy it to keep it local, and keep the history and memories of Charlie here.

After getting it mechanically sound, with numerous parts from Steiner, a fresh coat of paint was added to top it off. My twin brother also has a 520 from another long time farmer in the area, Albert Crock. Both have local history and many memories of when we helped them both. Nothing like having Twins on Twin tractors. We are currently looking to purchase another local tractor owned by a farmer who has also passed. Just enjoying keeping the past alive!
