1947 Minneapolis Moline R
Ten years ago I bought this 1947 Minneapolis Moline R for $500. I took it apart and removed a mouse nest that caused the #1 cylinder to seize to the sleeve and lock up the engine. The rims were badly rusted, tires were junk. I went to Ohio for a motor and some other things, repaired the back wheels, bought new tires front and rear. Sandblasted everything and primed and painted with the proper prairie gold and Minneapolis Moline red. I was able to rebuild the carb that came on the new engine and had a machine shop put new valves in the blocks. A fellow in Toronto rebuilt the clutch disc and I freed up the adjustments on the fingers of the pressure plate. Lots of work, lots of fun, runs great!
Thank you
