The Comforting Sound of a John Deere

I bought my B John Deere manual start a year ago from a gentleman in Missouri who purchased it twenty years ago. Most of the time I can hand start it. If not I let it roll down the hill and throw the clutch. That pop-pop sound of the engine is so exciting for this 80 year old man. Frequenly I start it just to hear it cackle.
