“
This tractor was purchased new by my grandfather in 1955 and was used on the family farm. My uncle did an overhaul on it when he was in high school but it was later replaced by newer equipment and parked in the barn. After sitting in the barn for 30 years I pulled it out and completed a full restoration on this John Deere 50 during my senior year of high school. I competed in the tractor restoration contest through FFA at the major ag mechanic shows in Texas and managed to place quite well.”
