1938 John Deere A

Just purchased this beautiful 1938 John Deere Unstyled model A hand crank model down here in good ole Odenville, Alabama. What an awesome piece of history!
Stopped at a couple of fuel stops along the way back home and old guys would walk up and start a conversation with me and never look at me. Their eyes were trained on the ole Poppin John as if they were talking to the tractor. It was an incredible experience. I am a blessed man to have it.

I like your tractor a lot. Last summer I restored a 1952 TO 30 Ferguson, I Call her Ferge. I’am now almost done building her own trailer just to take her on rides . She will never see hard work anymore. All of these older tractors are what made farming as we know it today. Keep showing that beauty. Jon
