1955 Ferguson TO35

I grew up on a small farm in Livingston, California. I learned to drive tractor at a young age on my dad’s 1955 Ferguson TO35. When the farm was seized through eminent domain to build a school the tractor was sold at auction. For the past 10 years, I’ve been looking for my dad’s tractor.
Unfortunately I had no way of finding out who had purchased it. However, I was able to find the same year make and model in a nearby town, and my husband did a full restoration on my Fergie.
It was in pretty rough shape and a lot of hammer and dolly work was required to make the sheet metal reasonably straight. I believe we put in over 100 hours of work on the restoration including a two-stage paint job in the original factory colors. I enjoy taking it to local tractor shows and driving it in tractor parades.
