1951 John Deere M

Here are the before and after of our 1951 John Deere M that we were able to buy a couple of years ago. It originally belonged to the neighbor, a WW1 Veteran, who had a small farm across the road from ours. We bought it from his nephew from the same farm it never left since new. He started letting me drive it when I was around 9-10 years old. I would plow his very large garden with the 1-bottom plow, disk it down with the 7′ drag disk, and cultivate with the 1 row, belly mounted cultivators. I later was mowing his pastures with the mid-mounted sickle bar mower. We got all of the equipment too, except the mower. 

We also currently have several other tractors that are the same models as the ones I used to help other neighbors while growing up. They include; 1951 John Deere B, 1952 John Deere B, 1941 John Deere LA with cultivators, 1958 John Deere 420W. Other models 1952 John Deere G, 1952 John Deere A, 1958 John Deere 630, 1958 John Deere 730D, 1959 John Deere 330S, 1959 John Deere 430T (all of these are intended to be passed down to my grandchildren).
