1945 Farmall M
This is currently our oldest tractor on our ranch/farm here in Northeast Pennsylvania. It’s a 1945 Farmall M that has had a few upgrades over the years to make it perform better/stronger than some in the Super Series. It has high compression pistons that increases the horse power, 2 sets of live hydraulic remotes and a recently rewired 12volt distributor system and new tires.
It’s used on our smaller, single beater, single axle IH manure spreader, wheel rake for hay and pulling square bale wagons from the field to the barn and running our New Holland small square baler. It’s fun to run unless it’s 90°+ outside. And it and it’s brother, our 1953 Super M are always kept inside when not in use.
The ole saying continually rings true that “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore” which is why we take such good care of them as we help promote and prolong the long heritage of our ageless iron from the 1940’s and 50’s.
