Featured Tractor – John Deere 2030

The John Deere 2030 tractor belonged to our neighbor Morris Boles. Our neighbor was a hard-working farmer his whole life and this was the tractor I would always see him baling hay with. Many days as a child I would watch him from our picture window working his farm with this tractor and his faithful dog Bruno following behind him.

After his passing, I purchased the tractor at auction. I did this for two reasons, it’s a great tractor, and someday I hope to be able to farm his fields with his old tractor. I cannot think of a better way to pay tribute to our old friend, we were truly blessed to have him as our neighbor.
