Playing a Tune on 1956 John Deere 60
This is our son Carson playing his banjo on our 1956 John Deere 60.

I bought this 60 a little over 4 years ago mainly because I like the single front wheel and 42″ rear wheel combination.
I rebuilt the PTO clutch and replaced various parts in the transmission clutch with parts from Steiner. I also replaced the 2nd and 5th speed gears which I found were chipped while fixing the loose shift lever ball socket. We use it to cultivate small plots of sweet corn and potatoes, along with haying on our small acreage.
Although it is not our best John Deere two cylinder tractor, it is my favorite one to use now.

Very nice. Good he plays bajo. I have never understood one wheel in front or tricycle gear on tractors. Wagon, buggies and trains were all 4 wheeled vehicles.
