I spent the summer of 1947 working for my Uncle on a Dairy Farm near Otisco, New York. I learned to hitch a team of horses to various wagons and equipment for plowing and racking mowed hay into wind rows. But I also drove a Allis Chambers tractor for the same work and it was powerful and a joy to work with. Great memories for a 17 year old high school boy.
