“The northern lights were putting on a show for all the farmers on the North Dakota prairie during planting in May 2016. This was taken in our field just a few miles south of the Canadian border. We grow small grains and also do custom harvesting.”

I have never seen stars going around like they are in this photo. This is absolutely amazing.
Perhaps a little ‘time-lapse’ photography generated the circle effect. As a former Bismarck resident and non-native North Dakotan its just another example of the beauty in that great state that very very few in the ‘lower 48’ know about. A absolutely stunning photo.
