5th Annual Antique Tractors Parade on Mackinac Bridge
Tomorrow will be the 5th Annual Antique Tractors Mackinac Bridge Crossing Parade. Hundred of antique tractors will drive across the bridge starting at 10:00 am in Mackinaw City and ending in St. Ignace. The parade started in 2007 with 614 tractors crossing the bridge. This year they already have well over 900 entrants signed up.
Steiner employee Deona Vorheis will be attending the 17th Annual Big Truck Show and Parade of Lights with her husband Rob who drives his semi in the parade. The truck show is held September 14-15th with the trucks crossing the bridge at dusk in the “Parade of Lights”.
Even though Deona does not own a tractor she has offered to take a few pictures. If anybody else would like to share their pictures of the tractor parade we would love to see them. You can submit them on our blog using the “Tractor Story Submission” tab or share them on our Facebook page.
