Tractor Story – Minneapolis Moline Side Hay Rake
The first photo is of the rake before painting. A number of spikes were missing and a neighbor had some new ones so I replaced them. The back wheels I had to work on to get them going.
2nd Photo is the finished product. This rake was purchased by my father new and I raked a lot with it using a small B Allis tractor. I have restored that too but I didn’t take a before photo. I thought of it when I as priming it.

would love to see a pic of both the rake and AC “B” together…..
I got a Minneapolis Moline side delivery rake like this one from a neighbor. I used it to do some fields and it worked fine on raking but when we tried to ted the hay it would pop out of gear. Would you know why it would do that ,since i am going to start to restore it part by part and would like some help on what it should have.
I have one similar to this that I don’t want. I don’t know what to do with it.
