How can I tell which hydraulic pump I have on my Ford tractor?
|For Ford tractors 1953 thru 1964 you could have a vane or piston style pump. The Vane pump housing is a more square style while the piston style is a round housing. For more information view Ford hydraulic pump differences.

how about 1948 8N?
Cody,
The 1948 8N used neither of these pumps. It used the belly style pump.
