Allis Chalmers WD45

This is my Allis Chalmers WD45. It was owned by a family friend and sold 4 times before I stumbled across it and traded half of a pig and $150.00 for it. My dad drove this tractor before he went into the service (Vietnam) when he would help with doing hay on their farm. It is very special to me and my family.

This year I had decided to strip the tractor down and repaint it before the Mackinaw Bridge Antique Tractor Crossing. I had the honor this year of being the Grand Marshall, and it is an honor to drive this tractor. It has been a work in progress and a very good learning experience. I have enjoyed working on it and learning as well. It has been very special as well doing some of it with my dad.
