1935 John Deere A

This 1935 A John Deere was purchased by my parents in December of 1934 at Brink Implement in Edgerton, Minnesota. They traded four draft horses in order to complete this purchase.
The tractor came from the factory with four steel wheels. My dad refitted the tractor to rubber tires and new rims one year later. A Behlen 5th and 6th gearbox was added later. This enabled the tractor to have a relatively high road speed for that era.
This tractor has always remained in the Walhof family.

It needs to be restored.
