Great-Great-Grandfather’s Ford 8N
I want to share some quick photos of our grandson Carson on his late great-great-grandfather’s Ford 8N tractor.

He was only 7 months old on Thanksgiving Day 2019, so he really didn’t know what was going on when we sat him in the seat of the old tractor. That all changed Thanksgiving 2020 when we sat him in the seat. He sat in the seat and started cranking that steering wheel as if he was plowing the fields. He loved it so much he stayed there for about 15 minutes. He was not happy when we made him come inside for our Thanksgiving meal.
Although you can’t see much of the tractor in the photos, it clearly is in need of a little TLC. It still runs but isn’t quite ready to hit the fields just yet. Hopefully within the next couple of years, Carson and I will be able to have time to work on the old 8N. It will be a fun project for us, and I know we can get it done with help from Steiner Tractor Parts.

Love it. Ford 8n go on forever. I have two (one for sale). I truly don’t care if they ever plough a field though I have used one for breaking the earth. Glad younger generation can have a sit!
Thank you. We will have a lot of fun with this tractor over the next few years.
