Following his dream!
It has always been my dream to restore a model A Farmall since I was a young child. Back in September of 2014 I was going through health problems going from doctor to doctor and not knowing what was wrong with myself. Then on September 30th, I received the worst news a 21 year old could ever receive…I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. After a six month period of being bed ridden I was back on my feet and I realized that life was to short to not follow my dreams.
Shortly after I started working again and getting incorporated back into a regular lifestyle, I decided to follow my dream of restoring a model A Farmall! I found and purchased a 1946 model A Farmall and I am currently in the process of restoring it. I enjoy it because it takes my mind off the business of life and teaches me patience to not rush through life. Dreams do come true as long as you don’t allow time to pass you by and not pursue them!

WOW! Good luck to your in your health and restoration project. Hope both turn out well.
Keep up with your good attitude and life will go well. Remember that especially when you hit a snag with a rusty bolt or nut. Patience will see you through. Good Luck
My prayers go with you for your health ,Restoring a tractor to me is a infusion of life to my soul ,Stay the way life is good .
Similar situation, stage 4 Bladder Cancer diagnosed and radical cystectomy followed. I have a Ford 860(1957). Sometimes having a project is what gets me up and going. Best wishes and never give up the fight.
I hope you have a weight on the right side. The tractor came with a cast weight on the right side to prevent tipping when the tractor if on a left-leaning embankment. I have an “A” and it is a nice little tractor. It will pull it’s rated weight all day long without a problem.
Travis, I am going to be praying for you to have a full recovery. A miracle will happen, just believe. Jesus is standing right beside you as you restore your tractor. I have a Farmall 140. My granddaddy bought it when I was 5. I am in my 50’s now. You are an inspiration for many. Keep the faith! Request me as a facebook friend “Worth Forbes” Greenvile, NC and we can talk about how we are restoring our tractors. Later, Worth
