Tractor Story – 1956 Farmall 300
Two colleagues and I have recently began working on a 1956 Farmall 300. So far we have diagnosed the tractor of its problems, and have taken off some parts to be refurbished. After we had completed that step we decided to fix the haywire wiring (no pun intended). As we were working on that the coil burst, but we had that replaced. We are now one step closer to finishing the tractor, and getting it into running shape. We couldn’t have done it without the help of our friends at Steiner, thank you!

I am working on project Farmall 300 owned by a class mate, Jake Partlow. we are working on in our Ag-power class to restore the tractor to running condition. The tractor, a 1956, had spent about two years under cover with no use. in that time a lot of grime built up all over the tractor. So far we have cleaned out a family of mice and cleaned off as much dirt and grease as possible. we have removed, cleaned, and remounted the gas system, and also removed and cleaned the carburetor. Now we are trying to fix the many electrical issues, present because of Jerry-rigged parts. W
