Tractor Story – CASE VAC

This Case VAC belonged to my Father-in-law , who passed several years ago. The clutch release bearing fork was broken and it had sat for years. My grandson and I decided to fix her up, this is the end result, except for a few more things.

Can anyone shed some light on changing the differential brake shaft carrier seal on a Case VAC with rear disk brakes. I found the replacement seal, have the schematic, have the brake cover and disk removed as well as the four bolts in the inner cover. however, not sure how to remove this plate . Any input, diagram, hints, ideas, etc… would be greatly appreciated.

Also need info on replacing bearing carrier seal 1946 VAC. I have the carrier off but not sure which side to remove seal from. Also see slight degradation of bearing seat and looks like shaft has to be removed to remove bearing. How does shaft come out or how do you replace the bearing? any help greatly appreciated.
