Tractor Stories – My 1951 Cub in the Heart of Dixie
I am the proud owner of a 1951 farmall cub. This tractor came into my possesion by me trading my fourwheeler and I was so eager to do this because this is the same year and model that my great grandpaw Bearden had bought new in 1951. My dad has Great grandpaw Beardens Cub in IL, also he has a 1949 and 1952. For this reason I went on the hunt for a Cub of my own. Me being 17 when I got the Cub had the honor of working on it with both my father and grandfather, and was able to proudly run all the tractors together side by side early this spring. I am in need of a clutch kit and i do plan on ordering from Steiner as soon as I can afford it. I just wish more of my generation was more into this sort of “hobby”.
God bless you all, thank you all for listening to my story.
