Tractor Stories – John Deere 50

When I was small, like all kids I loved tractors. We used to visit a dairy farm in up state New York in time for haying almost every year. I always wanted to run the tractor but was to small. Well some 50 years later I finally got one of my own. A john Deere 50 . Took it apart and repaired the head that had broken from a freeze and a few other things and figured out what made it tick. On Cape Cod there are no farms so about the only thing left to do is go pulling. I started last year and now have a new hobby that I really enjoy. Looking forward to a new season.
