1953 John Deere 50

Hello! My name is Gayle Eaton. I am a retired public educator who has farm roots, and in 2006 I purchased a 1953 John Deere model 50 for $1,500 because it reminded me of one my Dad had owned years before when he farmed in southern Idaho. This nostalgic purchase led to a ten-month long process and an investment of over $6,000, but it was all worth the effort because I now own a cherished and preserved piece of rural Americana.
