Internal Resisted Coils

| Internally resisted coils have an internal ballast resistor that does not reduce voltage until it warms up about 2 to 5 minutes.
Cold it will read the same voltage on both posts. After it warms for a few minutes it should drop voltage to between 8 and 9.5 volts for normal operation.
