John Deere Transmission Pickup Screen Magnet Information Sheet

Part  JDS507 transmission pickup screen magnet Fits: John Deere new Generation 1960 and up. Works with all if the new style pick up screen is used from the dealer (#R68836). This magnet fits inside the pickup screen (#R68836). The screen is located on the bottom of the transmission case behind the drain plug. The pickup screen is a different screen than the transmission oil filter. The oil must be drained to install the magnet, or a wet vac can be attached to the fill hole and the magnet can be installed with a minimum loss of oil.  There may be some confusion on this part, this information should clear up any problems if not, please contact us.
