Our 1950 Case VA was bought new by my Grandfathe and has been on this farm since. Parked in the 1970's behind the barn, it was in bad shape. When my 16 year old nephew Jake talked us into a restoration it took about a year, with lots of work from Jake, his dad Bob and myself. All work including, body and paint was done in Bob's shop. The decals and wiring harness from Steiners added the finishing touch. Jake has since started his apprenticeship as a heavy truck mechanic. I told everybody if we got this tractor running I would drive it in the Brooklin Spring Fair Parade. We finished it in time for June 2010 parade.

This 1950 Case DC almost had a life in the scrap yard until I saved it from going. It has been in my family since it was brand new. My great grandfather used it to run a threshing machine and a 4 bottom plow. My friends and family said "Just take it to the scrap yard it isn't worth anything". I said "No, my grandmother drove it, it is going to be running again". Now after Summer and Fall of 2010 it is all done. I would like to thank Steiner's for the brake linings, tool box and the magneto. Next Summer it is going to be used to rake hay.
