“My father purchased this Fordson tractor on November 23rd, 1979 for $750 and it’s been on the home farm since then. It did run but made a lot of noise. My youngest sister lives on the farm site now and took this picture some years ago. My sister said multiple people have stopped by to ask if the tractor was for sale and she tells them it is my dad’s tractor and they would have to ask him but he is in heaven. We grew up with Ford tractors.” – Richard Rauenhorst

It is a beautiful picture and memorie. I would pull the plugs then put about a quarter bottle of Marvel Mystery oil in each cylinder then put plugs back in and let sit till spring, this may unfreeze pistons if they are stuck then try to get it running make your Daddy proud and smile from above.
Really great photo. Very well staged.
Too bad the sister won’t let go of the old Fordson. Old tractors need to be passed along for others to enjoy not to rot away in the weeds.
