Franklin Family’s John Deere GP

This 1929 John Deere GP has been in the Franklin family since the 1970’s. It has been passed down through three generations. It was bought around 1975 by Milton Franklin for $75, then passed on to his son Shawn Franklin when Milton passed away.
In 2025, when Shawn’s nephew Daniel developed meningitis and was able to overcome the disease, he began restoring the GP during his recovery to help him cope with his condition. On October 11th of 2025, Daniel took the GP to his first tractor show along with his young son Jonah. Daniel hopes to finish the restoration with the help of Jonah as he gets older and take it to many more tractor shows!
