1952 John Deere R
|
I bought my 1952 John Deere R in 2017 from Northern Minnesota. When I bought the tractor it was a running tractor but needed some TLC.

I spent 5 years tearing down and rebuilding the pony motor and also fixing many leaks in the rear end and other places. I replaced the gauges in the dash and got all of the wiring replaced. When I was thinking that all of the leaks were taken care of we put her (the tractor) into paint. She (the tractor) was no longer in her work clothes. I take great pride in the work that I did myself and enjoy taking it to shows so that people can enjoy her as much as I do. I am very proud that I get to show off my hard work on my tractor at the Minnesota State Fair.
