Watch out for imposters!

We’ve been getting calls from customers who thought they were chatting with us on Facebook but were actually talking to an imposter page. These imposter pages have been popping up for a while, but they’ve gotten more sneaky lately. They’re using photos from our Facebook page, our business name, and even our address! So, be extra careful when you’re chatting with someone on Facebook. Make sure they’re who they say they are.

Here are some tips to help you spot the difference between an imposter and our Steiner Tractor page:

* Our page name is Steiner Tractor Parts, Inc.

* The URL when you’re on our page is www.facebook.com/steinertractorparts/

In our ‘Intro’ information our phone number is 888-567-0015, which is different from the one on our catalog. We use different numbers to identify where people are finding us.

Our call center is in Lennon, Michigan, and all calls will be answered by an English-speaking customer service representative.

Here are some ways to identify an imposter page.

* They’ll probably have fewer ‘likes’ and ‘followers’ than us. We currently have 59K likes and 63K followers.

* The URL will be different from the one listed above.

* We don’t sell used parts on our page. We only list items for sale, like our annual calendar and a few holiday-themed items. We include a link to our website for more details and to purchase.

* You’ll never see a picture of a part with a comment to contact us about it.

Beware, they do steal our images and logo, and some have posted our address and name.

We want to help our customers be safe and not get taken by these imposter pages trying to use our name.

We use our Facebook page to share social items such as, tractor pictures, tractor stories, tractor club info, and special offers like free delivery or discounts.
