Super MTA

When I was a kid, the next-door neighbor used to have me come over to his place, pull his Super MTA out of the barn, and drive it around. At the time, he was in his 80s. Over the years, I tried to get his grandkids to sell me the tractor. They did not want to sell it at the time.
They decided to sell the farm a couple of years ago, and I hit them up about selling it to me. They finally agreed to sell it to me. They said I was probably the last to drive it. I had last driven it 38 years ago. When I pulled it out of the shed, it was about ready to fall through the floor.

I pulled it home and had to clean out the exhaust and pull the head to loosen up a stuck lifter. I put clean gas in it, and it fired right up. The new owner of the property leveled the old barn. At least I could keep a piece of the farm’s history.
