1950 Farmall Cub
I have a 1950 Farmall Cub that my Grandfather bought new in 1950 for a total of $950.00 with equipment. The tractor was passed to my father who used and maintained (with him being disable on a limited income and a former IH mechanic, he rigged what he had to to keep it operating) for our family garden of about 3 acres.
When I got the tractor after he passed away it was in desperate need of repairs. I rebuilt the engine a few years ago and just used the tractor a year or so along with my 1950 Ferguson TO-20 for our small garden. After getting some parts stockpiled I have completely broken the Cub down for restoration. It has been a long process so far and I am a long way from being complete, but one day it will look/be better than when my grandfather purchased it in 1950. With the help from Steiner and there extensive new and remanned parts available for our Cub, I feel 100% comfortable that it will be parade ready someday in the future. Thanks for all the great folks that work there and are always willing to help us anyway they can to keep this old iron moving around!
