Here is a photo of my ’41 JD H before disassembly began.    I inherited it from my father, who didn’t know much of the the tractor’s history.    It ran well but was missing lots of parts after an apparent “functional” rebuild following an accident (big weld across the lower pedestal.)

Can anyone help with this mystery? There’s a layer of dark blue paint under the faded green. Did any come from the factory that way? Or were any painted in company colors? Any information would be appreciated.
