Backorder Report Now Available Online!

We’ve just added a new feature to our website. You can now view our backorder report online.

The report will be updated each Wednesday. The report contains approximate due dates for the select few items that we do not currently have in stock. Please note that some items may show as backordered on our website and not appear on this report. One of the most common reasons is that the item may be a kit. This means that we are selling an “assembly” that is comprised of multiple items from our inventory. Rather than showing the inventory under the kit, we keep the inventory under each individual component part and just build the assemblies as ordered. If you aren’t sure about an item that you saw as backordered on our website, please contact us.

We aim to keep all of our parts on the shelf, but this isn’t possible. We are very proud of the fact that out of the over 4000 products that we offer, only 3% to 4% are backordered at any given time. Also, we have several individuals in our organization who devote their time to communicating with factories and vendors and work very hard to get products back on the shelf.

We regret any inconvenience that backordered parts may cause you, but rest assured that we are working very hard to get these products on the shelf. I hope that this new feature will be valuable to our customers and help you to plan your projects.
