My tractor is a 1948 Ford 8N
I have a 1943, 9 N I talked to my dealer and his say I would not be able to find parts for the hydraulic system. The tractor lift but only with total of maybe 2 inches of movement on the lift control. I would like to know what I can do about it. Is the control pump bad or is something bent. I used it for brushhogging and with the controls the way they are it is hard to maintain cutting high. Any idea?
I would be glad to talk about some things to check, call me at 1-800-234-3280 ext 117
Or the hyd dvd we sell would be a good place to start

I would like to know what year my tractor is the serial number is 49385
Hi Mike,
I apologize I just now saw this comment! What model is your tractor? I can definitely help you determine the year with that information. Again I apologize for the delay.
1948 8n ford
Have a 1953 Golden Jubilee Serial Number NAA37524. It has a 134 CU gasoline engine, four speed transmission, hydraulic lift and a live PTO. Can any one make sense of this serial number?
Sam,
The serial number confirms that your tractor is a 1953 Ford Golden Jubilee. Serial numbers 4930 through 77478 were all made in 1953.
My 1954 NAA has blue paint that appears to be original paint. could that be so?
Hi Jim,
I did a little bit of research on the Ford paint schemes. Here’s what I found out…. Ford did not use blue paint until 1962 on the 2000 series tractor.
