My father bought this 1946 Massey Harris 101 Junior Twin Power tractor new from a local dealer. It was our farm’s only tractor and was responsible for doing all the work from hay cutting and bailing, to plowing and seeding corn.
Remarkably after 76 years, the tractor was still in our barn on our farm. My son-in-law Matt prompted a restoration project when I asked him to help me repair the rear fenders. I went inside to get paper to make a pattern, and when I returned, Matt had taken the fenders off and removed the seat and steering wheel. Matt had replaced the original wiring and had the tractor running like new. After months of grinding, sanding, pressure washing, and painting, we applied the new decals on my 70h birthday, July 19th, 2022. What a great gift.
