This 1953 John Deere model 50 was purchased new by my wife’s great-grandfather and used for many years in western Kentucky row crop production. After several years of not running and being kept in dry storage it was sold to a neighbor who was able to get it running again and a new coat of paint. We were luckily able to purchase it back from him after a few years. Now we use it to break the garden each year and pull a wagon to take the kids for a ride.
