My Allis Chalmers just the way I want it

My Grandfather purchased a brand-new Allis Chalmers WD45 in 1957. The first photo below is me riding on it at one year old in 1958. This was the “big” tractor on the farm for 10+ years. When I purchased the farm from my grandparents in 1976 I got this tractor and another Allis Chalmers WD.

Several years ago I brought it into the shop for a winter project and refurbished it. It wasn’t a restoration, I converted it to a wide front and changed a couple other things to make it the way I wanted it. These days it mainly rakes hay and plants oats in the spring. Needless to say it will stay with me as long as I’m still kicking.
