Farmall 350: Ready to work

I grew up around small tractors and loved the nostalgia of these old pieces of American history. The moment I found this 1957 Farmall 350 Diesel I knew I had to have it.

My son and I immediately put it to work at our property cleaning and tilling and enjoying the sound and smell of old iron.  As is, this tractor seems to be reliable and in sound working condition, but we are looking forward to slowly going through this machine and “fixing her up”.  When my children were small we always loved listening to the Oak Ridge Boys on our way to camp so naming this old Farmall “Elvira” seemed to fit.
