Review Winner

Congratulations to February’s review winner, Delvin Steiner from Missouri! He writes, “I buy a fair amount of parts from Steiner Tractor, and I’ve always been impressed with their service and with the amount of parts they stock. I am a huge fan of their prebuilt wiring harnesses for older tractors. It’s very easy to sort out exactly which one to buy on their website, and the fit and finish are second to none! Also they include wiring diagrams so that installation is a snap! I am currently restoring a JD 70 Diesel, and I’ve been impressed at what all they have for this tractor. Thank you, Steiner Tractor!” Most recently Delvin shared his JD 70 Diesel story with us. “I bought this 1956 JD 70 Diesel at an auction this past fall, (2024). Originally thought it was a 730 until we looked a bit closer and discovered that someone had redone the paint and stickers on it. The sheet metal obviously was not correct for a 730, and upon closer inspection we found it had a readable serial tag, and is 330 units away from the final model 70 built, according to TractorData.com. It was in rough shape, both engines were seized up, and it was full of mouse nests everywhere! As you can see from these photos though, it’s a work in progress and I’m having a great time with it! I’m dreaming of completing this project sometime this year, or at least in time to have it done by its 70th birthday in 2026.” Our winner is randomly drawn from all of the reviews submitted to us during the month of January and will receive a $25 Steiner gift card.
