1256 Restoration

This International 1256 was produced at the Farmall Works in Rock Island, Illinois, on Wednesday, March 6, 1968. It was sold at W.L. Dunn International in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. The original owner had an auction a short time later and the tractor was sold to a farm in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, the farmer passed away and the tractor sat for nearly 30 years. It has 3,036 hours on it. We began restoration on it in 2020 which included having the fuel pump and injectors refurbished by Danny Anderson (Dirt Boyz), a new turbo from Wimer Diesel (Sandy Lake, Pennsylvania), and tin work by A. Fitzsimmons.
