Tractor Story – 1948 International C
This 1948 International C was the first tractor I ever rode on, while being held on the farmers lap. 60 years later I found this one with one wheel in the bone pile and the other on a banana peel. Many hours and much work and this is the finished tractor. Of course you can’t just let them set in the garage. Here it is in the ‘Egg on Spoon Race’ at our tractor rodeo.
Old tractors are addictive, started with a 48 C then a 1955 U300, then a B.N. then came the Cubs and now I am working on a 1957 McCormick Farmall 130 vintage.
