Tractor Stories – Allis Chalmers WD

Just a short note on my Allis Chalmers WD. Bought this at an auction 4 years ago for $800.00. Used Allis Chalmers all the time in 60’s & 70’s on family farm.

Dad passed but I always liked AC. This tractor I used for 1-1/2 years before my Grandson said it needed painting. Well 1 year and a whole lot of time and money later, but who cares it was a labor of love and worth it. I use it daily on my 30 acres to mow, hay-rake and bale.

Thanks to Steiner for carrying all the parts I had to have to complete this tractor. I rebuilt the motor so I needed ring gear, water pump, gauges, intake manifold, muffler adaptor, etc.

I will never sell this tractor it will go to my grandson, who at 9 years of age drives it like a man.  Trust me when I say this was the most complete restore I ever did and it was worth it.
