Tractor Story – 1950 Oliver 66
I purchased this 1950 Oliver 66 from a salvage yard in western Nebraska through ebay. Through several emails I felt I may have a diamond in the rough. The tractor was delivered and the points, plugs, etc. were replaced. The carburetor and starter were rebuilt, several oil seals were replaced, and then miscellaneous parts were installed. A valve job was performed and the engine appeared to be in excellent shape. Since there was no lifting mechanism on the tractor I found a power lift on ebay and during installation of it I was able to check the transmission for wear and found very little…”A Diamond in the Rough!”. With the help of Steiner Tractor Parts, several local suppliers and a coat of paint the restoration was complete.

Tractor Club Webinar A Success
Steiner Tractor Parts was excited to share some information about promoting and advertising tractor shows with a group of around 25 people on February 23, 2013. We presented Steiners program for tractor clubs, discussed various activities clubs could add to their show as well as effective marketing practices, including how to create a Facebook page and posting on a WordPress website. The video along with a pdf version of the slide show is available at SteinerTractor.com/tractor-club for other clubs to access and utilize.
People call from all over the world with ideas, questions and feedback about shows they run and attend and this presentation was designed to help grow awareness of what various clubs are doing. Those that attended came away with some actionable insights into activities and marketing for their own show, and we hope that this will not only get you excited with new ideas, but also let you know Steiners cares.
If you would like any more information about the information presented in this webinar, please feel free to email Elizabeth@steinertractor.com or call 1-800-234-3280.
Thank you to all who attended and especially to those who helped to make this presentation possible.
