Amanda Mrva in Customer Service brought in this picture of her children Alan and Olivia having fun by the bean field with their very own tractor pull. : )
Do you have one of these?
Many of us have a photo of ourselves as a child on the family tractor with our Dad or Grandpa.
Relive these memories, check through your old albums and hunt up your photos. We’d love to see ’em! We also invite you to share photos of your children on your tractor. Here’s a few from the Steiner crew to get you started.
To find out who they are check our Tractor Nostalgia album on the blog.

Carlson Family Tradition
There has been at least one Carlson family farming Hamilton County, Iowa land since 1869. Naturally we are attached to the tractor heritage that comes along with that. My Brother Calvin, my cousin Ethan, and I have restored about 15 tractors over the last 6 or 7 years and are in the process of a couple more. We’re fortunate to have our Dads, Brad and Matt, and Grandpa Varlen around to help us too. I would like to share a few pictures of the tractors that bring us together as a family and thank Steiner for helping us preserve our family heritage.

Getting to Know Us
We are starting a new feature on our blog where we will introduce you to the Steiner Tractor Parts employees. We hope you enjoy a little peek into the lives of the people at the other end of the phone and all the others packing your orders and running things behind the scenes.
We are starting our “Featured Employees” section with Emily Rosser. Emily has worked at Steiners for 7 years as a Billing Clerk / Customer Service Rep.
My name is Emily and I have been married to John for 10 years. We have a 5 year old son named Wyatt and a 2 year old daughter named Aubrey. We live in Shiawassee county on 220 acres with our german shepherd/ timber wolf Rugar.
I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family. I also like hunting, fishing, playing softball & carting my son back and forth to hockey. (Yes I’m a hockey mom)
I was born and raised on the farm so I know first hand all of the blood, sweat and tears everyone puts into their farms and I try to instill the values and responsibilities I grew up with into my children so they can grow up with the same pride in the family farm that I did.
