Take a moment to remember those who died in the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Virginia, and those who perished when the hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania.
1953 Oliver Row Crop 66
This here is my 1953 Oliver row crop 66. It came from my uncle Larry, who has now passed away. Boy, did he love his Oliver! I started tackling this project the day I got the “ok” to take it out of the shed; I was racing against time to get it running before the annual parade.
I got going just in time, and being only 18, buying the parts was not easily done, as I’m sure most people know how it is. I was lucky enough to have it handed down to me after his passing; I have put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into it. Knowing where it came from was the only thing keeping me going at that point. Thanks to Steiner Tractor Parts, it’s running once again. The fuel tank was full of rust, the original carburetor was far beyond repair, and a whole new ignition system was needed, along with many other parts. I had to put the chrome pipe on it because you can’t have an old tractor like that without one!

Pictured is our Farmall Super H, which my husband recently restored and painted. His great-uncle bought the tractor brand new in February 1954. It is one of thirteen in our Farmall collection.
