Show Me Tractor Cruise June 2010
Ralph & Mary Johnson of Clarksdale, MO are big supporters of the Show-Me Tractor Cruise a tractor ride to benefit children with cancer. The Johnson family sent this letter to Mandy in Customer Service and she thought our readers might like to join in this worthy cause.
The 2010 cruise is June 26th starting at Savannah MO at 8:00 am.
A group always serves a pancake and sausage breakfast. Another group serves a sack lunch along the way. There is a whole hog roast with all the trimmings in the evening for the public. There will be prizes for the oldest driver and who comes the longest distance. We usually have drivers from about 10-15 states. It is quite a sight to see 300+ tractors all lined up ready to go.Some of the women do the serving and others work, while the men have fun (ha ha). It is a fun time for all and a good cause. The camp can handle 100-112 campers and partners for a week. Everything is donated even doctors and nurses. There is all kinds of activities. Horses, swings, swimming, motor bikes, horse drawn wagon rides, nature walks, camp fires and more. Go online and see more about it.
