Here are a few pictures taken at the 2014 Allis G Round Up in Gadsden, Alabama. On display, the first G Allis-Chalmers tractor built. “Since Gadsden was where the G’s were produced (except for this one) we still had some of the former workers there to see this one.” said Diane Turner. The show was for all makes and models of antique tractors, including some little guys on peddle tractors. Everyone had fun and even the rain couldn’t dampen their spirits.
1957 Farmall 450 ~ Think Pink
This is our 7 yr old daughter Gentry who has claimed her Papas 1957 Farmall 450 diesel. The shirt says it all “Farmall Girl” and she is thru and thru. Even going as far as not eating green M&M’s or drinking from a green straw! Her Papa purchased the tractor from his Uncle and was restored this past spring and summer. If you ask her why she loves THIS Farmall over the rest its a pretty short answer “cuz I can make it smoke!”

1952 Allis Chalmers B ~ Think Pink
This is my wife’s dad giving his approval on the restoration I did on this 1952 Allis Chalmers B that he farmed with for many, many years. The old tractor now lives a life of retirement, going to tractor shows, and helping throw out candy at the local Christmas parades.

Farmall Cub ~ Think Pink
My brother and I bought our Cub when we were in high school. We were tired of mowing our large lawn with a walk behind mower and we have always liked old tractors so we thought a Cub would fit the bill nicely. We found a Cub locally (which is rather difficult to do here) that ran, drove, and mowed but looked terrible. We bought it and used it for a year before tearing it down to be restored. The restoration took over 2 years and included rebuilding the engine, installing new bushings, bearings, seals, and gaskets everywhere we could find them. The tractor and parts got sandblasted to give us some bare metal. We painted the tractor in primer and then that beautiful red with hardner in it to make the paint better than when new. We added lights and rear wheel weights. We were able to replace many of our broken, worn out, or missing parts with the help of Steiner Tractor Parts. Our Cub still mows the lawn every summer and looks fantastic while doing so, partially in thanks to Steiner for making these old tractor parts available. I expect the Cub will be working for many years to come!
