It is so much fun for us to see what happens with our parts after they leave here.
Dear Steiner,
I have always wanted to share some pictures with you to show what I have done with your parts. here are four tractors that have a lot of Steiner parts on them. You can use them for anything you want or just show them to your crew.

I found this tractor at a salvage yard. The engine was running real good and the hydraulics worked good. I redone everything else and has a lot of fun working on this little tractor. It turned out real good, starts every time, runs good drives good and it made a nice parade tractor.
This is a family tractor so its had a little better care than my other tractors. It was used for nothing but mowing hay its whole life. This tractor still has the original battery box, steering wheel and the wooden steering knob. I spent a lot of time on this tractor and it is my most favorite tractor that I have driven.
I bought this tractor on a farm auction. It had set for awhile, it ran, the tires were rotten but the tin was straight. I took it completely apart and totally rebuilt everything. I think this is the best tractor that I have done. Last Fall it was Best of Show in a pre-54 tractor show so that’s a small reward for your your work.
I bought this tractor at a salvage yard. I knew the man that bought this tractor new. I don’t think that is spent one night in the shed while he owned it. This was a big mistake from the start but I drove a 460 a lot when I was a kid and I just had to have one. Everything on this tractor was overhauled, rebuilt or redone, 16 months of work. Not much fun on this one. This is a fan favorite everybody likes this tractor.

December’s featured photo was submitted by Kim Horneman and will be featured in our 2018 catalog. The tractors pictured are a John Deere 720 and a John Deere 40. “My 720 diesel is a 1957 or 1958, pony start, has 3-point hitch and dual hydraulics. I bought it just out of high school and it was literally in boxes but somehow it became a tractor again. My husband’s 40 is a 1955 and is the latest addition to our family. We just got the chrome pipe from you all 2 days prior to this picture when we were having our family plow day at my parent’s farm, Daily Crisis Farm. He was a Farmall man but I think he has realized it’s okay to like both.”

My name is Dave and the tractor story I have is about a 1944 Case model DO. What started all this was my father and I were sitting down at my parents house in Florida. They bought a house there over seven years ago and moved there full time.
Now back at our old family house hold around Christmas time we would pick a piece of equipment or a machine and decorate it with lights for the holidays. The last time we all as a family did that was in 2007. So two years ago around November early December my father and I were talking about how fun it was putting the lights up and how we both enjoy our tractors and machines. The last tractor we did was our 1941 Farmall H and it looked good so we thought and talked about how can we do this in a subdivision in Florida?? Well after some time trying to figure out how to get a tractor home, we found one that worked perfectly!
Here’s the Paul Harvey story lol, I was on the internet and found an ad for our Case tractor that the man we bought it from couldn’t keep anymore. So naturally we inquired about it and found it in Tampa Florida about a 30 minute drive from our house. Now when we got the directions where to meet the guy we were surprised to find out it was a Bird Sanctuary. Mr Zaksee was his name and birds were his game. This place was just amazing for what it was and sure enough there was the little Case sitting by a tree. After awhile of chatting and some laughs we made a deal and the very next day got a trailer and picked her up and brought her home. And boy what a feeling it is bringing a new toy home. The main reason we purchased the Case was for a Christmas ornament for our home. And to find a vintage tractor in a bird scantuary is neato.
We fell in love with it because it needed to be saved from where it was. We brought it home and cleaned her up. Even put a quick coat of Case orange to protect it a little. When Christmas came around that Case looked great in our subdivision.
